HomeMy Public PortalAbout09861 O R D I N A N C E NO. 9861 AN ORDINANCE, transferring Three Million Three Hundred Sixty-nine Thousand Four Hundred Forty-five Dollars ($3,369,445.00) from the General Fund of the District to the Real Property Improvements and Alterations Fund; and transferring the remaining fund balances and related future revenues of the Ellisville Operating Fund, the South County Sewer Operating Fund, the Fenton Sewer Operating Fund, the Forest Ridge Operating Fund, the Riverside Operating Fund, the Valley Sewage Company Operating Fund, the Twin Oaks Operating Fund, the St. Louis County Operating Fund, the Martigney Operating Fund, the Sugar Creek Operating Fund, the Grasso Lane Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund, the New York & Shelby Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund and the Rayburn Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund to the Real Property Improvements and Alterations Fund; and appropriating Four Million Six Hundred Thousand Dollars ($4,600,000.00) from the Real Property Improvements and Alterations Fund to be used for project costs for the construction of Grand Glaize Maintenance Facility (95081), in the City of Valley Park, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with Kloster Company, Inc. for the construction of the aforesaid facility. WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of the Grand Glaize Maintenance Facility is Four Million Three Hundred Forty-seven Thousand Dollars S($4,347,000.00), and the cost of utility relocations and allowance for construction change orders is Two Hundred Fifty-three Thousand Dollars ($253,000.00), and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there are unencumbered balances in the above-named funds sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of Three Million Three Hundred Sixty-nine Thousand Four Hundred Forty-five Dollars ($3,369,445.00) is hereby transferred from the General Fund of the District to the Real Property Improvements and Alterations Fund. Section Two. The remaining fund balances and related future revenues of the Ellisville Operating Fund, the South County Sewer Operating Fund, the Fenton Sewer 3 Operating Fund, the Forest Ridge Operating Fund, the Riverside Operating Fund, the Valley Sewage Company Operating Fund, the Twin Oaks Operating Fund, the St. Louis County Operating Fund, the Martigney Operating Fund, the Sugar Creek Operating Fund, the Grasso Lane Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund, the New York & Shelby Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund, and the Rayburn Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund are hereby transferred to the Real Property Improvements and Alterations Fund. Section Three. The sum of Four Million Six Hundred Thousand Dollars ($4,600,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Property Improvements and Alterations Fund to be used for project costs for the construction of Grand Glaize Maintenance Facility (95081), in the City of Valley Park, Missouri. Section Four. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with Kloster Company, Inc. as the lowest responsible bidder for the construction of Grand Glaize Maintenance Facility (95081), in the City of Valley Park, Missouri, with The Metropolitan St. 4 Louis Sewer District, pursuant to bids received and opened on the 4th day of April, 1996. Section Five. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. 5 The foregoing Ordinance was adopted May 9, 1996.
