AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Three Hundred Thirty Thousand Dollars
($330,000.00) from the Real Property Improvements & Alterations Fund of the District for
construction phase services for the Grand Glaize Maintenance Facility (95081); and
authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer to enter into Amendment No. 2 to
Contract E-810 with Sverdrup Civil, Inc. for the aforesaid services.
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 9357, adopted October 12, 1994, provided the initial
funding for and authorized Contract E-810, and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Three Hundred Thirty Thousand Dollars
($330,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Real Property Improvements & Alterations
Fund of the District for construction phase services for the Grand Glaize Maintenance Facility
(95081).
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized to enter into Amendment No. 2 to Contract E-810 with Sverdrup Civil, Inc. for
construction phase services for the Grand Glaize Maintenance Facility (95081); said contract
amendment to be comprised of such terms and conditions as are approved by the office of the
General Counsel of the District.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take
effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted May 9, 1996.
