AN ORDINANCE, appropriating One Million Forty Thousand Dollars
($1,040,000.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of
Coldwater Creek to be used for project costs for the construction of storm and sanitary sewers
in St. Charles Rock Road to Breckenridge Storm Channel and Sanitary Relief Phase I
(93018), in the City of Breckenridge Hills, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director
and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a
contract with Bates Utility Company, Inc. for the construction of the aforesaid storm and
sanitary sewers.
WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of said storm and sanitary sewers is
Nine Hundred Ninety Thousand Seventy-three Dollars ($990,073.00), and the allowance for
construction change orders is Forty-nine Thousand Nine Hundred Twenty-seven Dollars
($49,927.00), and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of One Million Forty Thousand Dollars ($1,040,000.00)
is hereby appropriated from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund
of Coldwater Creek to be used for project costs for the construction of storm and sanitary
sewers in St. Charles Rock Road to Breckenridge Storm Channel and Sanitary Relief Phase I
(93018), in the City of Breckenridge Hills, Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with
Bates Utility Company, Inc. as the lowest responsible bidder for the construction of storm and
sanitary sewers in St. Charles Rock Road to Breckenridge Storm Channel and Sanitary Relief
Phase I (93018), in the City of Breckenridge Hills, Missouri, pursuant to bids received and
opened on the 28th day of March, 1996.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take

effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted May 9, 1996.
