AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Seventy-five Thousand Nine Hundred Eighty-five
Dollars ($75,985.00) from the General Fund of the District to be used for project costs for
the rehabilitation of sanitary sewers in Valentec International Sewer Repair (96076), in the
City of Olivette, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on
behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with Insituform
Missouri, Inc. for the aforesaid rehabilitation.
WHEREAS, Valentec International Corporation has deposited the total costs of
said project with the District, and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Seventy-five Thousand Nine Hundred Eighty-five
Dollars ($75,985.00) is hereby appropriated from the General Fund of the District to be used
for project costs for the rehabilitation of sanitary sewers in Valentec International Sewer Repair
(96076), in the City of Olivette, Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with
Insituform Missouri, Inc. for the rehabilitation of sanitary sewers in Valentec International Sewer
Repair (96076), in the City of Olivette, Missouri.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take
effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted May 9, 1996.
