HomeMy Public PortalAbout09875 O R D I N A N C E NO. 9875 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Two Million Two Hundred Eighty-Five Thousand Dollars ($2,285,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for the procurement of a Process Control System for the Lemay Wastewater Treatment Plant (93085); and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with The Foxboro Company for the furnishing of the aforesaid Process Control System, WHEREAS, the bid for the furnishing of said Process Control System is Two Million One Hundred Thirty-nine Thousand Four Hundred Dollars ($2,139,400.00), and the allowance for change orders is One Hundred Forty-five Thousand Six Hundred Dollars ($145,600.00), and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of Two Million Two Hundred Eighty-five Thousand Dollars ($2,285,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for the procurement of a Process Control System for the Lemay Wastewater Treatment Plant. Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with The Foxboro Company as the lowest responsible bidder for the furnishing of a Process Control System for the Lemay Wastewater Treatment Plant (93085), pursuant to bids received and opened on the 16th day of April 1996. Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted June 13, 1996.
