AN ORDINANCE, making a supplemental appropriation of Two Hundred Fifteen
Thousand Dollars ($215,000.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction
Improvement Fund of Lower Meramec River Basin for additional engineering services for
Phase II of Windsor Springs Sanitary Interceptor (90127); and authorizing the Executive
Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to
enter into Amendment No. 1 of Contract E-847 with CH 2 M Hill for the aforesaid engineering
services.
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 9708, adopted October 12, 1995, appropriated the
initial funding for said engineering services, and authorized execution of Contract E-847, and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Two Hundred Fifteen Thousand Dollars
($215,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction
Improvement Fund of Lower Meramec River Basin for additional engineering services for
Phase II of Windsor Springs Sanitary Interceptor (90127).
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Amendment No.
1 of Contract E-847 with CH 2 M Hill for additional engineering services for Phase II of Windsor
Springs Sanitary Interceptor (90127); said contract amendment to be comprised of such terms
and conditions as are approved by the office of the General Counsel of the District.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take
effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted June 13, 1996.
