Meeting Minutes
Date: March 8, 2011
Place: Brewster Ladies Library
Present: Jim Gallagher, George Thurber, Doug Erickson, Gary Christen, Eric Levy, Beth
Finch
Called to order: 6:10
Discussed Americorp letter for Pathways walking weekend. Doug will volunteer to lead
a pathways group on our new trail layout and Eric will volunteer to lead one in Nickerson
State Park.
Reviewed January 25 minutes and made minor changes. Motion to approve. George
move, Doug second. Approved unanimously.
Americorp did not do February improvements. Requested improvements for access and
parking at Mother's Bog have been ok'd by ConsCom. Discussion of filth on trails.
Discussion of various access/parking. Made map of proposed parking sites for Doug to
bring to ConsCom. Jim has open dialog about gates (NSTAR) with NSTAR contact.
Committee directed Jim to inquire about any NSTAR objections to us walking on their
easement.
Next meeting April 12, 2011.
