AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Ninety-five Thousand Dollars ($95,000.00)
from the Sanitary Replacement Fund for professional engineering services to prepare Title V
Operating Permit Applications for the Bissell, Lemay and Grand Glaize Treatment Plants; and
authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St.
Louis Sewer District to enter into Amendment No. 7 to Contract E-775 with Sverdrup Civil,
Inc. for the aforesaid professional engineering services.
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Ninety-five Thousand Dollars ($95,000.00) is hereby
appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund for professional engineering services to
prepare Title V Operating Permit Applications for the Bissell, Lemay and Grand Glaize
Treatment Plants.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Amendment No.
7 to Contract E-775 with Sverdrup Civil, Inc. for professional engineering services to prepare
Title V Operating Permit Applications for the Bissell, Lemay and Grand Glaize Treatment
Plants; said amendment to be comprised of such terms and conditions as are approved by the
office of the General Counsel of the District.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take
effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted July 11, 1996.
