AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Eight Hundred Seventy-five Thousand Dollars
($875,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund for professional engineering services to
provide implementation, testing and start-up of the Lemay Wastewater Treatment Plant
Process Control software; review and process all contractor shop drawings and submittals, and
provide general office engineering services for the technical aspects of the procurement and
installation of the Process Control System; and provide additional Engineering and Design
Services to complete the Lemay Process Control System; and authorizing the Executive
Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to
enter into Amendment No. 4 to Contract E-791 with Mishra & Associates, Inc. for the
aforesaid professional engineering services.
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Eight Hundred Seventy-five Thousand Dollars
($875,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund for professional
engineering services to provide implementation, testing and start-up of the Lemay Wastewater
Treatment Plant Process Control software; review and process all contractor shop drawings
and submittals, and provide general office engineering services for the technical aspects of the
procurement and installation of the Process Control System; and provide additional Engineering
and Design Services to complete the Lemay Process Control System.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Amendment No.
4 to Contract E-791 with Mishra & Associates, Inc. for professional engineering services to
provide implementation, testing and start-up of the Lemay Wastewater Treatment Plant
Process Control software; review and process all contractor shop drawings and submittals, and
provide general office engineering services for the technical aspects of the procurement and
installation of the Process Control System; and provide additional Engineering and Design

Services to complete the Lemay Process Control System; said amendment to be comprised of
such terms and conditions as are approved by the office of the General Counsel of the
District.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take
effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted July 11, 1996.
