AN ORDINANCE, appropriating a total of One Million One Hundred Thirty-one
Thousand Dollars ($1,131,000.00), to be funded as follows: Eight Hundred Thirty-five
Thousand Dollars ($835,000.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction
Improvement Fund of Lower Meramec River Basin, and Two Hundred Ninety-six Thousand
Dollars ($296,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund, to be used for project costs for
the construction of sanitary sewers in Friendship Village Sanitary Interceptor (90122), in the
City of Sunset Hills, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer
on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with Unnerstall
Construction, Inc. for the aforesaid construction, and
WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of said sanitary sewers is One Million
Seventy-seven Thousand One Hundred Eighty and 50/100 Dollars ($1,077,180.50), and the
allowance for construction change orders is Fifty-three Thousand Eight Hundred Nineteen and
50/100 Dollars ($53,819.50), and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The total sum of One Million One Hundred Thirty-one Thousand
Dollars ($1,131,000.00), to be funded as follows: Eight Hundred Thirty-five Thousand Dollars
($835,000.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of
Lower Meramec River Basin, and Two Hundred Ninety-six Thousand Dollars ($296,000.00)
from the Sanitary Replacement Fund, is hereby appropriated to be used for project costs for
the construction of sanitary sewers in Friendship Village Sanitary Interceptor (90122), in the
City of Sunset Hills, Missouri;
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with
Unnerstall Construction, Inc. for the construction of sanitary sewers in Friendship Village
Sanitary Interceptor (90122), in the City of Sunset Hills, Missouri, within The Metropolitan St.

Louis Sewer District, pursuant to bids received and opened on the 3rd day of June, 1996.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take
effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted July 11, 1996.
