AN ORDINANCE, appropriating One Hundred Thousand Dollars ($100,000.00)
from the Clean Water Capital Improvement Trust Fund to be used for additional engineering
services for the Bissell Point Watershed Overflow Regulation System in the City of St. Louis,
Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Amendment #5 to Contract E-682 with
Horner & Shifrin, Inc. for the additional engineering services.
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 8042, adopted March 23, 1990, provided the initial
funding for and authorized Contract E-682, and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of One Hundred Thousand Dollars ($100,000.00) is
hereby appropriated from the Clean Water Capital Improvement Trust Fund for additional
engineering services for the Bissell Point Watershed Overflow Regulation System in the City of
St. Louis, Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Amendment #5
to Contract E-682 with Horner & Shifrin, Inc. for additional engineering services for the Bissell
Point Watershed Overflow Regulation System in the City of St. Louis, Missouri; said
amendment to be comprised of such terms and conditions as are approved by the office of the
General Counsel of the District.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take
effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted August 15, 1996.
