HomeMy Public PortalAbout09933 O R D I N A N C E NO. 9933 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating One Million Eight Hundred Eighty Thousand Dollars ($1,880,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for project costs for the construction of the Lemay Service Area Overflow Regulation System Lemay Pump Station Modifications (L-08D, 95042D), in the City of St. Louis, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with TGB, Inc. for the aforesaid construction. WHEREAS, the bid for the Lemay Pump Station Modifications is One Million Seven Hundred Forty-four Thousand Six Hundred Eighty-eight Dollars ($1,744,688.00) and the allowance for change orders and asbestos removal, etc. is One Hundred Thirty-five Thousand Three Hundred Twelve Dollars ($135,312.00), and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of One Million Eight Hundred Eighty Thousand Dollars ($1,880,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for project costs for the construction of the Lemay Service Area Overflow Regulation System Lemay Pump Station Modifications (L-08D, 95042D), in the City of St. Louis, Missouri. Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with TGB, Inc. as the lowest responsible bidder for the construction of the Lemay Service Area Overflow Regulation System Lemay Pump Station Modifications (L-08D, 95042D) in the City of St. Louis, Missouri, with The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, pursuant to bids received and opened on the 23rd day of July 1996. Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted September 12, 1996.
