HomeMy Public PortalAbout09934 O R D I N A N C E NO. 9934 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Two Million Eight Hundred Thirty Thousand Dollars ($2,830,000.00) from the Clean Water Capital Improvement Trust Fund to be used for project costs for the construction of the Bissell Point Watershed Overflow Regulation System Miscellaneous Sewer Rehabilitation Lining of Sewer with CIPP Watkins Creek to Maline Creek Interceptor Sewer (BP-015G, 94090G), in the City of St. Louis, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with Insituform Missouri, Inc. for the construction of the aforesaid contract. WHEREAS, the bid for the rehabilitation of the Watkins Creek Sewer is Two Million Six Hundred Ninety-six Thousand Five Hundred Five Dollars ($2,696,505.00) and the allowance for change orders is One Hundred Thirty-three Thousand Four Hundred Ninety-five Dollars ($133,495.00), and WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 7.120 of the Plan of the District, the appropriation effected herein will not result in a deficit at the end of the current budget year, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of Two Million Eight Hundred Thirty Thousand Dollars ($2,830,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Clean Water Capital Improvement Trust Fund to be used for project costs for the construction of the Bissell Point Watershed Overflow Regulation System Miscellaneous Sewer Rehabilitation Lining of Sewer with CIPP Watkins Creek to Maline Creek Interceptor Sewer (BP-015G, 94090G), in the City of St. Louis, Missouri. Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with Insituform Missouri, Inc. as the lowest responsible bidder for the construction of the Bissell Point Watershed Overflow Regulation System Miscellaneous Sewer Rehabilitation Lining of Sewer with CIPP Watkins Creek to Maline Creek Interceptor Sewer (BP-015G, 94090G), in the City of St. Louis, Missouri, pursuant to bids received and opened on the 30th day of July, 1996. Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted September 12, 1996.
