AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Thirty-seven Thousand Dollars ($37,000.00)
from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Black Creek to be
used for project costs for the construction of a concrete headwall and storm sewers in
Graybridge Meadows (88081), in the City of Ladue, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive
Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to
enter into a contract with Truss Brothers Construction, Inc. for the construction of the aforesaid
concrete headwall and storm sewers.
WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of said concrete headwall and storm
sewers is Thirty-five Thousand Two Hundred Forty-five Dollars ($35,245.00), and the
allowance for construction change orders is One Thousand Seven Hundred Fifty-five Dollars
($1,755.00), and
WHEREAS, the real property owners being served by said project have
contributed Fifteen Thousand Dollars ($15,000.00) toward the total costs thereof, and said
money has been deposited in the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund
of Black Creek, and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Thirty-seven Thousand Dollars ($37,000.00) is
hereby appropriated from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of
Black Creek to be used for project costs for the construction of a concrete headwall and storm
sewers in Graybridge Meadows (88081), in the City of Ladue, Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with
Truss Brothers Construction, Inc. as the lowest responsible bidder for the construction of a
concrete headwall and storm sewers in Graybridge Meadows (88081), in the City of Ladue,
Missouri, pursuant to bids received and opened on the 24th day of July, 1996.

Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take
effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted September 12, 1996.
