AN ORDINANCE, transferring the remaining fund balance and related future
revenues of the Mississippi River Construction Fund to the Operation, Maintenance and
Construction Improvement Fund of Mississippi River, and appropriating Six Hundred Eighty-
nine Thousand Dollars ($689,000.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction
Improvement Fund of Mississippi River for the cleaning of sewer inlets within the Bissell and
Lemay River des Peres service areas within the City of St. Louis, Missouri.
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The remaining fund balance and related future revenues of the
Mississippi River Construction Fund are hereby transferred to the Operation, Maintenance and
Construction Improvement Fund of Mississippi River.
Section Two. The sum of Six Hundred Eighty-nine Thousand Dollars
($689,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction
Improvement Fund of Mississippi River for the cleaning of sewer inlets within the Bissell and
Lemay River des Peres service areas within the City of St. Louis, Missouri.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take
effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted September 12, 1996.
