AN ORDINANCE, making a supplemental appropriation of Five Hundred Fifty
Thousand Dollars ($550,000.00) from the Caulks Creek Construction Fund for additional
engineering services for the final design of Infrastructure Repair #087P Caulks Creek "A" (P-
750) (93077); and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of
The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Amendment No. 1 to Contract E-835
with Crawford, Murphy & Tilley, Inc. for the aforesaid additional engineering services.
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 9665, adopted September 14, 1995 appropriated the
initial funding for said engineering services, and authorized Contract E-835, and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Five Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars ($550,000.00)
is hereby appropriated from the Caulks Creek Construction Fund for additional engineering
services for the final design of Infrastructure Repair #087P Caulks Creek "A" (P-750)
(93077).
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Amendment No.
1 to Contract E-835 with Crawford, Murphy & Tilley, Inc. for additional engineering services
for the final design of Infrastructure Repair #087P Caulks Creek "A" (P-750) (93077); said
contract amendment to be comprised of such terms and conditions as are approved by the
office of the General Counsel of the District.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take
effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted October 10, 1996.
