AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Three Hundred Forty Thousand Dollars
($340,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for the procurement of
Motor Control Centers for the Process Control System Upgrade at the Lemay Wastewater
Treatment Plant (93085B); and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer
on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with
Electrical Controls Company d/b/a ECC Supply Company for the furnishing of the
aforesaid Motor Control Centers.
WHEREAS, the bid for the furnishing of said Motor Control Centers is Three
Hundred Twenty Thousand Six Hundred Seventy-Five Dollars ($320,675.00), and the
allowance for change orders is Nineteen Thousand Three Hundred Twenty-Five Dollars
($19,325.00), and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an
unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized
herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Three Hundred Forty Thousand Dollars
($340,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for
the procurement of Motor Control Centers for the Process Control System Upgrade at the
Lemay Wastewater Treatment Plant (93085B).
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract
with Electrical Controls Company d/b/a ECC Supply Company as the lowest responsible
bidder for the furnishing of Motor Control Centers for the Process Control System Upgrade
at the Lemay Wastewater Treatment Plant (93085B), pursuant to bids received and
opened on the 2nd day of October, 1996.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall
take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted November 14, 1996.
