AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Twenty-Five Thousand Ninety-Five Dollars
($25,095.00) from the Improvement Fund to pay the State of Missouri's share for the
construction of storm sewers in the Lowill Lane Stormwater Project and the Lopina Drive
Stormwater Project (P-20865), in the City of Crestwood, Missouri.
WHEREAS, said projects were undertaken by the City of Crestwood,
Missouri at an estimated total cost of Seventy-Five Thousand Two Hundred Eighty-Seven
Dollars ($75,287.00), and
WHEREAS, the State of Missouri has agreed to contribute Twenty-Five
Thousand Ninety-Five Dollars ($25,095.00) toward the total costs of said projects, and
will deposit said amount with the District, and
WHEREAS, Six Thousand Nine Hundred Sixty Dollars ($6,960.00) of the
total sum as hereby appropriated will be applied to the Lowill Lane Stormwater Project,
and Eighteen Thousand One Hundred Thirty-Five Thousand Dollars ($18,135.00) of said
sum will be applied to the Lopina Drive Stormwater Project, and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an
unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized
herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Twenty-Five Thousand Ninety-Five Dollars
($25,095.00) is hereby appropriated from the Improvement Fund to pay the State of
Missouri's share for the construction of storm sewers in Lowill Lane Stormwater Project
and Lopina Drive Stormwater Project (P-20865), in the City of Crestwood, Missouri.
Section Two. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take
effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted November 14, 1996.
