AN ORDINANCE, appropriating One Million Two Hundred Thousand Dollars
($1,200,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for project costs for the
construction of Phase II Odor Controls (96083B) at the Lemay Wastewater Treatment Plant,
in St. Louis County, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer
on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with TGB, Inc.
for the aforesaid construction.
WHEREAS, the bid for said Phase II Odor Controls is One Million One Hundred
Forty-one Thousand Forty-four Dollars ($1,141,044.00) and the allowance for change orders
is Fifty-eight Thousand Nine Hundred Fifty-six Dollars ($58,956.00), and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of One Million Two Hundred Thousand Dollars
($1,200,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for
project costs for the construction of Phase II Odor Controls (96083B) at the Lemay
Wastewater Treatment Plant, in St. Louis County, Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with
TGB, Inc. as the lowest responsible bidder for the construction of Phase II Odor Controls
(96083B) at the Lemay Wastewater Treatment Plant in St. Louis County, Missouri, with The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, pursuant to bids received and opened on the 24th day
of October 1996.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take
effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted December 12, 1996.
