O R D I N A N C E NO. 10005
AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Three Hundred Eleven Thousand Dollars
($311,000.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of
Coldwater Creek to be used for project costs for the construction of rock fill slope protection
and appurtenances in Infrastructure Repair #170 (Marshall Ct. - Humes Ln.) 96068, in the
City of Florissant, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on
behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with Millstone
Bangert, Inc. for the aforesaid construction.
WHEREAS, the bid for the aforesaid sanitary sewers is Two Hundred Ninety-six
Thousand One Hundred Dollars ($296,100.00), and the allowance for construction change
orders is Fourteen Thousand Nine Hundred Dollars ($14,900.00), and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Three Hundred Eleven Thousand Dollars
($311,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction
Improvement Fund of Coldwater Creek to be used for project costs for the construction of rock
fill slope protection and appurtenances in Infrastructure Repair #170 (Marshall Ct. - Humes
Ln.) 96068, in the City of Florissant, Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with
Millstone Bangert, Inc. as the lowest responsible bidder for the construction of rock fill slope
protection and appurtenances in Infrastructure #170 (Marshall Ct. - Humes Ln.) 96068, in
the City of Florissant, Missouri, within The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, pursuant to
bids received and opened on the 13th day of November, 1996.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take
effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted December 12, 1996.
