HomeMy Public PortalAbout10013 O R D I N A N C E NO. 10013 AN ORDINANCE, making a supplemental appropriation and setting apart out of the General Fund of the District the sum of Nineteen Thousand Nine Hundred Sixty Dollars ($19,960.00) for the Communication Department's implementation of an Environmental Justice Program in a portion of the District for the remainder of the 1996-97 fiscal year. WHEREAS, the United States Environmental Protection Agency has awarded a grant in the amount of Nineteen Thousand Nine Hundred Sixty Dollars ($19,960.00) to the District for the implementation of said Program, upon the receipt of such funds from said source, said money will be returned to the General Fund of the District, and WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 9857, adopted May 9, 1996, appropriated the initial funding for the Communication Department's budget for the 1996-97 fiscal year, and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of Nineteen Thousand Nine Hundred Sixty Dollars ($19,960.00) is hereby appropriated and set apart out of the General Fund of the District for the Communication Department's implementation of an Environmental Justice Program in a portion of the District for the remainder of the 1996-97 fiscal year, as hereinafter detailed: Communication Department Personal Services $ 8,060.00 Administrative & General $ 11,900.00 Total $ 19,960.00 Section Two. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted December 12, 1996.
