AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Two Million Two Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars
($2,250,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for project costs for the
construction of the Process Control System Upgrade at the Lemay Wastewater Treatment
Plant (93085A); and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of
The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with RJP Electric, L.L.C. for
the aforesaid construction.
WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of the Process Control System Upgrade
is Two Million One Hundred Twenty Thousand Dollars ($2,120,000.00), and the allowance for
change orders is One Hundred Thirty Thousand Dollars ($130,000.00), and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Two Million Two Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars
($2,250,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for
project costs for the construction of the Process Control System Upgrade at the Lemay
Wastewater Treatment Plant (93085A).
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with
RJP Electric, L.L.C. as the lowest responsible bidder for construction of the Process Control
System Upgrade the Lemay Wastewater Treatment Plant (93085A), pursuant to bids received
and opened on the 10th day of December, 1996.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take
effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted January 9, 1997.
