AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Sixteen Thousand Three Hundred Eighty-three
Dollars ($16,383.00) from the Improvement Fund to pay the State of Missouri's share of the
total costs for the construction of a gabion wall and appurtenances in Hillcrest Blvd. Inlet
Structure Project (P-20928), in the City of Winchester, Missouri.
WHEREAS, said project was undertaken by the City of Winchester, Missouri at
an estimated total cost of Forty-nine Thousand One Hundred Fifty Dollars ($49,150.00), and
WHEREAS, the State of Missouri has agreed to contribute Sixteen Thousand
Three Hundred Eighty-three Dollars ($16,383.00)) toward the total costs of said project, and
will deposit said amount with the District, and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Sixteen Thousand Three Hundred Eighty-three Dollars
($16,383.00) is hereby appropriated from the Improvement Fund to pay the State of
Missouri's share of the total costs for the construction of a gabion wall and appurtenances in
Hillcrest Blvd. Inlet Structure Project (P-20928), in the City of Winchester, Missouri.
Section Two. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect
immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted January 9, 1997.
