HomeMy Public PortalAbout10042 O R D I N A N C E NO. 10042 AN ORDINANCE, authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to sell and convey to William R. Spell, Ernest E. Spell and Beverly J. Spell, as tenants in common, certain real property of the District located in the Village of Bel-Ridge, Missouri and prescribing the terms of said transaction. WHEREAS, the real property hereinafter described has been declared as surplus pursuant to Resolution No. 2001, adopted on July 9, 1991, and, WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution No. 2016, adopted September 18, 1991, said property was appraised and publicly advertised for sale. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to sell and convey to William R. Spell, Ernest E. Spell and Beverly J. Spell, as tenants in common, certain real property of the District located in the Village of Bel-Ridge, Missouri for the total sale price of Seventy-five Thousand One Hundred Dollars ($75,100.00), said property being described as follows: A tract of land in U.S. Survey 2476 and in Section 22 of Township 46 North, Range 6 East of the Fifth Principal Meridian, in St. Louis County, Missouri, described as follows: From a point in the Northern line of Springdale Avenue, said point being at the intersection of said Northern line with the Eastern right- of-way line of the Union Electric Light and Power Company, as recorded in Book 297, Page 46 of the St. Louis County Records; thence Northwardly along said Eastern right-of-way line a distance of 790.83 feet to the Southern line of a 20 foot roadway for a point of beginning; thence Eastwardly along said Southern line of said 20 foot roadway and its direct prolongation Eastwardly a distance of 361 feet to the center line of Moline Creek; thence following the center line and meander line of said creek upstream to its intersection with the aforesaid Eastern right-of-way line of the Union Electric Light and Power Company; thence Northwardly along said Eastern right-of-way line a distance of 483.0 feet to the point of beginning. Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to execute and deliver a special warranty deed and any and all other documents, as approved by the office of the General Counsel of the District, as may be necessary to effect the sale and conveyance as authorized in Section One above, and further to deposit the proceeds from said sale and conveyance in the Reserve for Real Property Purchases, Improvement and Alternatives Account. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted February 13, 1997.
