AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Ninety Thousand Dollars ($90,000.00) from the
Clean Water Capital Improvement Trust Fund to be used for project costs for the construction
of Landscaping Improvements, Native Grass & Wildflower Seeding and Plugging and
Landscape Planting (BP-13C5, 97023) at the Bissell Point Wastewater Treatment Plant, in
the City of St. Louis, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer
on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with Turfmasters
LLC for the aforesaid project.
WHEREAS, the bid for said project is Sixty-nine Thousand Eight Hundred
Ninety-nine and 52/100 Dollars ($69,899.52), and the allowance for the purchase of seed
and change orders is Twenty Thousand One Hundred and 48/100 Dollars ($20,100.48), and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 7.120 of the Plan of the District, the
appropriation effected herein will not result in a deficit at the end of the current budget year,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Ninety Thousand Dollars ($90,000.00) is hereby
appropriated from the Clean Water Capital Improvement Trust Fund to be used for project
costs for the construction of Landscaping Improvements, Native Grass & Wildflower Seeding
and Plugging and Landscape Planting (BP-13C5, 97023) at the Bissell Point Wastewater
Treatment Plant, in the City of St. Louis, Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with
Turfmasters LLC as the lowest responsible bidder for the construction of Landscaping
Improvements, Native Grass & Wildflower Seeding and Plugging and Landscape Planting (BP-
13C5, 97023) at the Bissell Point Wastewater Treatment Plant, in the City of St. Louis,
Missouri, pursuant to bids received and opened on the 6th day of February, 1996.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take
effect immediately upon its enactment.
