AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Twenty-five Thousand Dollars ($25,000.00)
from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Coldwater Creek to
be used for project costs for the construction of storm sewers in Kathlyn-Harold Storm Sewer
(96047) in the City of Woodson Terrace, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and
Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a
contract with Truss Brothers Construction, Inc. for the construction of the aforesaid storm
sewers.
WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of said storm sewers is Twenty-three
Thousand Seventy-five Dollars ($23,075.00), and the allowance for construction change
orders is One Thousand Nine Hundred Twenty-five Dollars ($1,925.00), and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Twenty-five Thousand Dollars ($25,000.00) is
hereby appropriated from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of
Coldwater Creek to be used for project costs for the construction of storm sewers in Kathlyn-
Harold Storm Sewer (96047), in the City of Woodson Terrace, Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with
Truss Brothers Construction, Inc. as the lowest responsible bidder for the construction of storm
sewers in Kathlyn-Harold Storm Sewer (96047), in the City of Woodson Terrace, Missouri,
pursuant to bids received and opened on the 18th day of March, 1997.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take
effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted May 8, 1997.
