AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Three Hundred Thirty-two Thousand Dollars
($332,000.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of
Maline Creek to be used for project costs for the construction of storm sewers in Cardigan
Lane Storm Sewer (96039), in the City of Ferguson, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive
Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to
enter into a contract with R.V. Wagner, Inc. for the construction of the aforesaid storm sewers.
WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of said storm sewers is Three Hundred
Fifteen Thousand Two Hundred Sixty-six Dollars ($315,266.00), and the allowance for
construction change orders is Sixteen Thousand Seven Hundred Thirty-four Dollars
($16,734.00), and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered
balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF
THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Three Hundred Thirty-two Thousand Dollars
($332,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction
Improvement Fund of Maline Creek to be used for project costs for the construction of storm
sewers in Cardigan Lane Storm Sewer (96039), in the City of Ferguson, Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with
R.V. Wagner, Inc. as the lowest responsible bidder for the construction of storm sewers in
Cardigan Lane Storm Sewer (96039), in the City of Ferguson, Missouri, pursuant to bids
received and opened on the 26th day of March, 1997.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take
effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted May 8, 1997.
