HomeMy Public PortalAboutResolution 75-14981 RESOLUTION NO. 75 -1498 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY DECLARING CERTAIN PREMISES TO BE A PUBLIC NUISANCE, AND ORDERING ABATEMENT THEREOF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY DOES RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: WHEREAS, the Planning Comnission of the City of Temple City has, by Resolution No. 75- 660PC, determined that a public nuisance, as defined in the Municipal Code, exists on certain premises and recommends abatement thereof; and WHEREAS, no appeal has been taken from said determination, and the time for taking such appeal has expired; NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Temple City hereby declares that a public nuisance, as defined in the Municipal Code of the City of Temple City, and as determined by the findings attached to Planning Commission Resolution No. 75- 660PC, exists on the premises designated as 5611 -5617 Sultana Avenue, City of Temple City, California, more particularly described as Portion of Lot 13, Sunnyview Tract, Book 13, page 156 of Maps in the office of the County Recorder, County of Los Angeles; and That the City Council hereby orders said public nuisance be abated within thirty (30) days pursuant to the recommendations attached to the Planning Commission Resolution No,'75- 660PC; That if said abatement is not accomplished by the expiration of thirty (30) days, the City Manager is hereby authorized and directed to cause said public nuisance to be abated by City forces or private contract pursuant to the Municipal Code; and That the City Clerk be and she is hereby directed to cause a copy of this Resolution to be served on the owners of said premises pursuant to the Municipal Code. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution.
