AUTHORIZING MAYOR TO EXECUTE ESCROW
AGREEMENT - CRANBURY TOWNSHIP
WHEREAS, the Borough of Carteret has entered into a Regional Contribution
Agreement with the Township of Cranbury to receive $680,000.00 in affordable
housing funds; and
WHEREAS, according to the Rules of the Council on Affordable Housing (COAH)
an escrow agreement must be completed prior to the receipt of any such funds; and
WHEREAS, said agreement must be signed by the Mayor of the receiving
municipality;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Governing Body of the
Borough of Carteret authorizes Mayor Peter J. Sica to perform this signatory duty on
the escrow agreement.

and certified as a true copy of the original
on December 6, 1996.
