A RESOLUTION APPROVING HALLOWEEN TRICK OR TREAT HOURS ON OCTOBER 31, 2020
FOR THE CITY OF RIVERDALE, IA
WHEREAS, The City of Riverdale, Iowa ("City") is a Municipal Corporation, organized and
operating under the laws of the State of Iowa, and;
WHEREAS, the Council desires that its residents and visitors should be able to enjoy
Halloween Trick -or -Treat activities in the greatest safety and security; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to coordinate its Trick -or -Treat hours with neighboring
communities.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RIVERDALE, IOWA,
Section 1 That the City Council approves that Halloween Trick -or -Treat hours shall be
from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 31, 2020, and;
Section 2 The Council directs City Staff to add the CDC's guidelines for safe trick -or -
treating to the City's website.
