Leesburg Water Customers Encouraged to Use the Town’s
Customer Self-Service Portal for Account Access
Leesburg, VA (July 22, 2013) – The Leesburg Utilities Department encourages its customers to
take advantage of 24/7 online access to their account information through the Town’s
Customer Self-Service Portal.
“It’s vacation season and the weather is hot and dry,” commented Amy Wyks, Leeburg’s
Utilities Director. “If you are traveling, you can view your balance and make payments without
needing a paper bill. If you are watering your lawn, you can monitor your irrigation system’s
daily usage and compare historical usage. In addition, daily usage data can be helpful if you
suspect a leak.”
The customer portal is located at www.leesburgva.gov/customerportal. To register, first create
a user name and password by clicking on the “Register” link below the log in fields. Then, click
on “Utility Bills” in the left hand menu to link your user name to your water account. You will
need your account number and customer ID (CID) number from a previous bill. Once you have
linked your account to your user name, you can:
• View current and past utility bills
• Pay your bill online
• View daily, monthly or annual usage by selecting a date range
