COUNCIL “PRE-MEETING” WORK SESSION, JANUARY 16, 2018
CALL TO ORDER
The City Council “Pre-Meeting” of January 16, 2018, was convened at 5:45 P.M. by
President Pro Tempore Rick Prather in the absence of Mayor Carrie Tergin.
ATTENDANCE
The following Council Members were present when the meeting convened:
Present: Fitzwater, Graham, Henry, Hussey, Kemna, Mihalevich, Prather,
Schreiber, Ward, and Wiseman
Absent: None
A quorum was present.
DISCUSSION OF AGENDA ITEMS
Miscellaneous Agenda Items
- Steve Crowell, City Administrator and Margie Mueller, Director of Finance and
Information Technology Services will present the January Outstanding
Employee Service Award to Cara Sankey.
Public Hearing
- Eric Barron, Planning Manager will present pending Bill 2017-110, a bill
relating to rezoning property addressed as 3328 Bennett Lane.
Announcements
- Councilman Schreiber will announce the Missouri State Penitentiary
Community Partners Meeting, scheduled for Friday, February 2nd, 8:30 a.m.,
City Hall, Boone/Bancroft Room.
- Councilman Henry will announce the Hum an Relations Commission Meeting,
scheduled for Tuesday, January 30th, 8:00 a.m., City Hall, Boone/Bancroft
Room.
Bills Pending
- Matt Morasch, Director of Public Works, will present Bills 2017-107, 2017-
108, and 2017-109.
Informal Calendar
- Councilman Hussey, the sponsor of Bills 2017-103 and 2017-104 will keep
the two bills on the Informal Calendar.

Resolutions
- Ryan Moehlman, City Counselor will present RS2017-22, a resolution
creating the Charter Review Advisory Committee.
