WHEREAS residents of the District have filed with the
Board a petition for the establishment of a Subdistrict to be
known as Subdistrict Number One of the River Des Peres Watershed
of the Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, and an ordinance has
been introduced in the Board of Trustees for the establishment of
such subdistrict, NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF
TRUSTEES:
1. That the Board will hold a public hearing on said
ordinance at 8:00 P. M. on Tuesday the 27th day of July, 1954, at
the Creve Coeur Farmers Hall on Olive Street Road east of Ballas
Road, for the purpose of determining the necessity for and
boundaries of such subdistrict.
2. That notice of such public hearing be given by
publication in the St. Louis Post-Dispatch and St. Louis Globe-
Democrat, newspapers of general circulation in the District, on
Saturday, July 3, 1954 and Sunday, July 4, 1954. The above Resolution was adopted June 28, 1954.
