WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 33 the Board of Trustees of
The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District declared the necessity
of an improvement to be made in the Maline Creek Trunk Subdistrict
and by Resolution No. 34 said Board directed the publication of
notices of public hearing to be held upon such improvement and
said notices were published in the Community News-North St. Louis,
on October 19th and 26th, November 2nd and 9th, Public News,
Berkeley, on October 19th and 26th, November 2nd and 9th, Town
Talk, Ferguson, on October 20th and 27th, November 3rd and 10th,
St. Louis Globe Democrat, on October 20th and 27th, November 3rd
and 10th, and St. Louis Post Dispatch, on October 20th and 27th,
November 3rd and 10th, as more fully appears by the affidavits of
the respective publishers filed with the District, and the public
meeting was held pursuant thereto;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT that pursuant to the
aforesaid hearing, it is hereby found and declared to be in the
public interest that such improvement, consisting of a sanitary
trunk sewer extending from the western terminus of the trunk sewer
serving the City of Bellefontaine Neighbors to a point near the
western or upper end of the Maline Creek Watershed be made.
The foregoing Resolution was adopted November 28, 1955.
