WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 29, adopted on September 6,
1955, the District provided for the establishment of a separate
Payroll Account in the First National Bank in St. Louis, and
provided further that all checks drawn on such Payroll Account
shall be signed by the Executive Director or the Director of
Finance, and countersigned by the Secretary-Treasurer, and
WHEREAS, the large increase in number of employees on
January 1, 1956, will make manual signing and countersigning of
such checks wholly impracticable.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that effective January
1, 1956, all Payroll checks shall be signed by the Secretary-
Treasurer only, either manually or by means of a check signing
machine.
The foregoing Resolution was adopted December 27, 1955.
