WHEREAS, by Ordinance No. 49 adopted on February 6,
1956, all overpayments of sewer service charges stand appropriated
to refund to the payors the amount of such overpayments and there
is now no account out of which such payments may conveniently be
paid and it is advisable to establish such an account for
convenience in disbursing such overpayments;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the officers of
the District be, and they are hereby authorized to establish a
separate Refund Account in the First National Bank in St. Louis,
said bank having been selected as a depository of the District,
and that the officers of the District be further authorized to
deposit from time to time such funds as may be necessary to
provide refunds of overpayments of sewer service charges.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that effective February 7,
1956, all Refund Checks shall be signed by the Secretary-Treasurer
only, either manually or by means of a check signing machine.
The foregoing Resolution was adopted February 6, 1956.
