HomeMy Public PortalAboutR0047 R E S O L U T I O N NO. 47 WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 46, the Board of Trustees of the District have declared that it is necessary in the interest of public health, to make an improvement in Subdistrict Number Two of the River des Peres Watershed of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District consisting of a system of subtrunk and lateral sanitary sewers to be connected to the upper end of an existing public sewer system of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District in University City which runs along the west edge of the subdivision known as Belmont No. 3. Such sanitary sewer system to be of sufficient size and capacity to provide adequate sanitary sewer service for the established ultimate population of the River des Peres Subdistrict No. 2 Watershed, and the estimated cost of such improvements is Three Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars ($350,000.00), to be derived from the sale of general obligation bonds payable both principal and interest by and from an annual tax on all taxable tangible property within said subdistrict; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT that notice of public hearing as provided by Section 9.020 of the Plan be given by publication in the St. Louis Post Dispatch on February 24 and March 1, newspapers published in the District, such notice to be in the following form: 2 NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING Notice is hereby given that The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District will hold a public hearing at The Cecil Ritchey Post 212, American Legion Hall, 2133 North and South Road, on Thursday, March 15, 1956 at 8:00 o'clock P.M., in respect to an improvement in Subdistrict Number Two of the River des Peres Watershed of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District (Vinita Park), such improvement to consist of a system of sub-trunk and lateral public sewer system of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District in University City which runs along the west edge of the subdivision known as Belmont No. 3. Such sanitary sewer system to be of sufficient size and capacity to provide adequate sanitary sewer service for the established ultimate population of Subdistrict No. Two of the River des Peres Watershed of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, and the estimated cost of such improvement is Three Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars ($350,000.00), to be derived from the sale of general obligation bonds payable both principal and interest by and from an annual tax on all taxable tangible property within said subdistrict. All persons interested in such improvement shall be given an opportunity to be heard. THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT 3 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Executive Director shall designate such officers and employees as he may see fit to attend. The foregoing Resolution was adopted February 20, 1956.
