WHEREAS, Curtis Brostron has tendered his resignation
from the Civil Service Commission of The Metropolitan St. Louis
Sewer District to Mr. John Bogdanor, Chairman of the Board of
Trustees of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, and this
Board of Trustees has regretfully accepted Mr. Brostron's
resignation; and
WHEREAS, this Board of Trustees wishes to express its
deep appreciation to Mr. Brostron for his services to the District
as a member of the Civil Service Commission and the first Chairman
thereof.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
The Board deeply regrets that Mr. Brostron's duties at
his company, and the increasing demand upon his time in regard to
his work as Penal Advisor to Governor Phil M. Donnelly have
compelled him to resign from the Civil Service Commission of this
District.
During the period he served on the Commission the Rules
and Regulations of the Civil Service Commission were adopted by
the Board and the transition of the employees of the City and
County to the District Service has been accomplished.
During the period he served as a member of the
Commission, at great personal sacrifice, he gave much of his time
to the personnel affairs of the District and his vast knowledge
and experience with such affairs was of great value to the
District.

Brostron for the excellent service he rendered to the District as
a member of the Civil Service Commission.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a copy of this Resolution
be forwarded to Mr. Brostron. The foregoing Resolution was adopted February 27, 1956.
