WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 58 the Board of Trustees of
The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District declared the necessity
of an improvement to be made in Subdistrict Number One of the
River des Peres Watershed of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer
District and by Resolution No. 59 said Board directed the
publication of notices of public hearing to be held upon such
improvement and said notices were published in the St. Louis Post
Dispatch on May 18, 1956, and on May 25, 1956, and in the St.
Louis Globe Democrat on May 21, 1956 and on May 29, 1956, as more
fully appears by the affidavits of the respective publishers filed
with the District, and the public meeting was held pursuant
thereto;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT that pursuant to the
aforesaid hearing, it is hereby found and declared to be in the
public interest that such improvement, consisting of a system of
Trunk and Sub-Trunk Sanitary Sewers to be connected to an existing
Sanitary Trunk Sewer of this District, be made.
The foregoing Resolution was adopted September 10, 1956.
