WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 101 the Board of Trustees of
The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District created Special Benefit
Subdistrict No. 23 (Sheldon Park) of The Metropolitan St. Louis
Sewer District and declared the necessity of an improvement to be
made in said Subdistrict, and
WHEREAS, adequate notice of a public hearing in respect
to said improvement in said subdistrict was given, and
WHEREAS, a public hearing was held not less than ten or
more than thirty days after the adoption of Resolution No. 101, to
wit: At 8:00 P.M. on January 8, 1957, at the Sheldon Park
Recreation Center, Diamond Drive and Fork Drive at which time all
persons interested in such improvement were given an opportunity
to be heard;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT that pursuant to the
aforesaid hearing, it is hereby found and declared to be in the
public interest that such improvement, consisting of the
construction of sewers within Subdistrict No. 23 to adequately
collect and dispose of sewage within said subdistrict be made.
The foregoing Resolution was adopted January 14, 1957.
