Big Lots, located in the Battlefield Plaza Shopping Center at 1041 Edwards Ferry Road NE, will kick off its grand opening celebration with a ribbon cutting ceremony at 8:45am. As part of the grand opening festivities, Big Lots will make a donation of $1,500 to Balls Bluff Elementary School. North America’s largest broadline closeout retailer, Big Lots stocks merchandise that typically sells for 20 to 40 percent less than discount stores. The new Leesburg store is Big Lots’ first store in Loudoun County. For more information, please visit www.biglots.com. The ribbon cutting ceremony for Eagles Berth will take place at 3:00pm. Located at 19A Wirt Street SW in Leesburg’s Historic Downtown, Eagles Berth offers Native American jewelry and home décor items, including hand-woven baskets, pottery and blankets.
