HomeMy Public PortalAboutR0162 R E S O L U T I O N NO. 162 WHEREAS, there exists within The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District and within the City of St. Louis a certain sewer hereinafter described which is in such condition as to be acceptable to the District for public operation and maintenance, and which it is desirable for the District to operate and maintain and, WHEREAS, the District by Ordinance Number 88, adopted the 16th day of July, 1956, is authorized to assume title to any or all sewers, easements and appurtenances by resolution whenever, in the opinion of counsel, no person competent to convey title can be found, and upon recommendation of the Executive Director that the District should assume title to such sewers, and WHEREAS, the General Counsel has given his opinion that no person can be found who is competent to convey title to the hereinafter described sewer, and the Executive Director recommends that the District should assume title to such sewer, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that title to the following described sewer and its appurtenances in the City of St. Louis be and is hereby assumed by The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District for public use, operation and maintenance: That sewer constructed under permit No. 32138 and lying in the south side of Miami St. and extending from approximately the center of the intersection of Oak Hill St. and Miami St. westwardly approximately 319 feet in Miami St. The foregoing Resolution was adopted March 10, 1958.
