WHEREAS, there exists within The Metropolitan St. Louis
Sewer District and within the City of St. Louis certain sewers
hereinafter described which are in such condition as to be
acceptable to the District for public operation and maintenance,
and which it is desirable for the District to operate and
maintain, and,
WHEREAS, the District by Ordinance No. 88, adopted the
16th day of July, 1956, is authorized to assume title to any or
all sewers, easements and appurtenances by resolution whenever, in
the opinion of counsel, no person competent to convey title can be
found, and upon recommendation of the Executive Director that the
District should assume title to such sewers, and
WHEREAS, the General Counsel has given his opinion that
no person can be found who is competent to convey title to the
hereinafter described sewers, and the Executive Director
recommends that the District should assume title to such sewers,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that title to the
following described sewers and their appurtenances in the City of
St. Louis be and are hereby assumed by The Metropolitan St. Louis
Sewer District for public use, operation and maintenance:
1. That sewer constructed under Permit No. 14531, and
lying in Coronado Avenue between Burgen Avenue and the alley
between Burgen and Bates Avenues, and lying in Burgen Avenue
between Coronado Avenue and the alley between Coronado and Leona
Avenues, and lying in said alley between Coronado and Leona
Avenues 120 feet southwardly and 120 feet northwardly from Burgen
Street.
2. Those sewers constructed under Permit No. 35202
and Permit No. 65859 and lying in the east and west sides of Leona
Street, respectively, between Bates Street and the alley between
Bates Street and Burgen Avenue.
3. That portion of a sewer constructed under Permit
No. 32473 and lying in Bates Street, and extending from a point
approximately 115 feet east of Newport Avenue eastwardly
approximately 180 feet.
4. That sewer constructed under Permit No. 15051 and
lying in Maze Place.
5. That sewer constructed under Permit No. 15051 and
lying in Grant Place, between Bates Street and a point
approximately 240 feet northwardly therefrom.
6. That sewer constructed under Permit No. 30496 and
lying in Eiler Street west of Ulena Street, Ulena Street between
that portion of Eiler Street lying west of Ulena Street and that
portion of Eiler Street lying east of Ulena Street, and lying in
Grant Place for a distance of approximately 120 feet south of
Eiler Street.
7. That sewer constructed under Permit No. 26463 and
lying in Ulena Street, extending northwardly from Bates Street
approximately 220 feet.
8. That sewer constructed under Permit No. 4658 and
lying in Adkins Avenue between Walsh and Delor Streets and lying
in Walsh Street between Adkins Avenue and Morganford Road.

9. Those sewers constructed under Permit Nos. 31402
and 48314 and lying in the north-south alley in City Block 5656.
10. Those sewers constructed under Permit Nos. 46235
and 49105 and lying in Alexander Street between Delor Street and a
point approximately 250 feet south of Delor Street.
