WHEREAS, a public sewer and its extension by a private
sewer now in operation lie in a sewer easement in a strip of
ground fifteen feet wide in a lot at the intersection of Lockwood
Avenue and Glen Road in the City of Webster Groves; and
WHEREAS, the owner of the land in which such sewers lie
wishes to dedicate the private sewer extension and has requested
permission to construct a building in said easement strip and over
said sewers and examination of the plans and specifications of
such proposed building shows that it would not damage the existing
sewers,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Executive
Director be and he is hereby authorized and directed to accept
such dedication and to license the aforesaid encroachment on said
easement strip, provided that the right of the District to use the
easement strip is preserved, and under suitable indemnity
provisions.
The foregoing Resolution was adopted April 30, 1959.
