WHEREAS, the district has made advancements from time
to time from the General Fund for the preliminary expenses of
subdistrict sewer and drainage improvements, such as the
preparation of engineering plans and the like, and such
advancements are recoverable on or before the completion of such
improvements from the proceeds of bond issues or of special
benefit assessments, as the case may be, and
WHEREAS, it is the sense of the Board of Trustees that
such advancements should be made from the Improvement Fund and
that the accounting for them should be centralized in appropriate
accounts in the Improvement Fund, beginning with the fiscal year
1959-1960,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT that the Director of
Finance be and he is hereby authorized and directed to transfer
from General Fund accounts to appropriate accounts in the
Improvement Fund, at or prior to the closing of accounts for the
fiscal year 1958-59, the outstanding amounts recoverable as of the
close of such fiscal year of moneys advanced by the District for
the preliminary expenses of subdistrict sewer and drainage
improvements during the fiscal year 1958-1959 and prior thereto.
The foregoing Resolution was adopted on June 25, 1959.
