HomeMy Public PortalAboutR0251 R E S O L U T I O N NO. 251 WHEREAS, there exist within The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District and within the City of St. Louis certain sewers hereinafter described which are in such condition as to be acceptable to the District for public operation and maintenance, and which it is desirable for the District to operate and maintain, and, WHEREAS, the District by Ordinance Number 88, adopted the 16th day of July, 1956, is authorized to assume title to any or all sewers, easements and appurtenances by Resolution whenever, in the opinion of counsel, no person competent to convey title can be found, and upon recommendation of the Executive Director that the District should assume title to such sewers, and WHEREAS, the General Counsel has given his opinion that no person can be found who is competent to convey title to the hereinafter described sewers, and the Executive Director recommends that the District should assume title to such sewers, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that title to the following described sewers and their appurtenances in the City of St. Louis be and are hereby assumed by The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District for public use, operation and maintenance: 1.Those sewers constructed under Permit No. 7497 and lying in Lucas Avenue and extending from its intersection with a 42 inch public sewer in the Mark Twain Expressway Right-of-Way westwardly to a manhole which is 190 feet west of the west line of Broadway 80 feet wide. 2 2. That sewer constructed under permit No. 7497 and lying in Broadway between Lucas and Washington Avenues and lying in Washington Avenue and extending from Broadway eastwardly approximately 115 feet to a manhole. 3 The foregoing Resolution was passed August 27, 1959.
