WHEREAS, the sewage treatment plant formerly of the
Affton Sanitary Sewer District can not be operated efficiently
without an additional water supply which can be obtained by
installation of a 3/4-inch water pipe, and
WHEREAS, appropriation has been made from the Special
Account in the Improvement Fund held for the benefit of the area
within the boundaries of the former Affton Sanitary Sewer
District, and
WHEREAS, the installation of such water supply pipe
will be in the interest of the public health and will be of
benefit to said area,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the installation
of a 3/4-inch water pipe to supply the sewage treatment plant
formerly of the Affton Sanitary Sewer District is necessary in the
interest of the public health; that the cost thereof is estimated
to be Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00); that such improvement is
within the purpose of the Special Account in the Improvement Fund
held for the benefit of the area of the former Affton Sanitary
Sewer District; and that the entire cost thereof shall be paid
from said Special Account pursuant to the standing appropriation
therefrom for such use.
The foregoing Resolution was passed October 22, 1959.
