HomeMy Public PortalAboutR0271 R E S O L U T I O N NO. 271 WHEREAS, there exists within The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District and within the City of St. Louis certain sewers hereinafter described which are in such condition as to be acceptable to the District for public operation and maintenance, and which it is desirable for the District to operate and maintain, and, WHEREAS, the District by Ordinance Number 88, adopted the 16th day of July, 1956, is authorized to assume title to any or all sewers, easements and appurtenances by Resolution whenever, in the opinion of counsel, no person competent to convey title can be found, and upon recommendation of the Executive Director that the District should assume title to such sewers, and WHEREAS, the General Counsel has given his opinion that no person can be found who is competent to convey title to the hereinafter described sewers, and the Executive Director recommends that the District should assume title to such sewers, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that title to the following described sewers and their appurtenances in the City of St. Louis be and are hereby assumed by The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District for public use, operation and maintenance: 1. Those sewers constructed under Permit No. 56058 and lying in Nassau Drive between Riverview Boulevard and Jordan Street. 2. Those sewers constructed under Permit No. 56058 and lying in Jordan Street between Riverview Boulevard and the east-west alley in City Block 5400. 3. That sewer constructed under Permit No. 56058 and lying in the generally north-south easement through City Blocks 6362 and 6363 between Riverview Boulevard and Nassau Drive. 4. That sewer constructed under Permit No. 56058 and lying in Gustav Avenue between Nassau Drive and Jordan Street. 5. That sewer constructed under Permit No. 56058 and lying in the south side of Riverview Boulevard, and extending from Jordan Street eastwardly approximately 265 feet to a manhole. The foregoing Resolution was passed November 5, 1959.
