WHEREAS, a public sewer now in operation lies in a six
foot wide sewer easement across Lot 28 of City Block 5200 of the
City of St. Louis, Missouri, and
WHEREAS, the owners of the land in which such sewer
lies have requested permission to allow the continued encroachment
of a building into said easement strip, and examination and survey
of such sewer and of such building shows that it does not damage
the existing sewer,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Executive
Director be and he is hereby authorized and directed to license
the aforesaid encroachment on said easement strip, provided that
the right of the District to use the easement strip is preserved,
and under suitable indemnity provisions.
The foregoing Resolution was adopted May 17, 1960.
