WHEREAS, a public sewer now in operation lies in a
fifteen foot wide sewer easement across property in Fractional
Section 32, Township 46 North, Range 6 East, in the City of
Overland, Missouri, and
WHEREAS, the owner of the land in which such sewer lies
has requested permission to construct a building over a concrete
slab located in said easement strip and over said sewer, and
examination of the plans and specifications of such proposed
building shows that it would not damage the existing sewer,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Executive
Director be and he is hereby authorized and directed to license
the aforesaid encroachment on said easement strip, provided that
the right of the District to use the easement strip is preserved,
and under suitable indemnity provisions.
The foregoing Resolution was passed on June 2, 1960.
